it's about time

I have been a very bad kitty about writing this last week...my apologies.  It is just that my world has been lit up with a firecracker and so many good things that have been in the works are coming to fruition.  There's a lovely little lyric that states:  "careful what you wish for 'cause you just might get it..."
So many sychronistic things happening...you wouldn't believe half of them!  All week I had been thinking about the song, "Have I told you lately that I love you" by Rod Stewart...for no reason in particular...it just was on my mind.  We were in NYC for Baron Funds' financial conference, and you never guess what?  We were surprised by an impromptu concert by none other than Rod Stewart...there is nothing like being at a concert when you can sing all the songs...a total blast from the past.  For a 64 year-old man, he had so much energy...reaffirming my idea that aging is purely voluntary.  Of course he sang my song just for me...or at least that was what I felt like tears running down my face...music has such power to move and inspire!  Thanks so much to my wonderful hosts!  NYC is my favorite place to be...we must open an office there soon!

Delaware Today is doing a photo shoot for MG on Monday...very excited and of course, blemish on front and center!  Here's hoping the photographer Michael Sahadi can work magic!  Isn't life just funny that way!

The fall leaves are quickly changing...their colors are getting drenched by rain here today...so enjoy their brief gift...life is magical if we look for these little surprises!  Have a great weekend!
