Have you ever minimized your talents so as to appear humble or fluff off a compliment because you were afraid to appear audacious?  It is sometimes so difficult to see our inner wonder and to trust that our talents are worthy of praise...and yet we originated from a noble birth...one that Epictetus recognized long ago even though he was a slave.   We all have noble roots and are called to reveal our treasures to the world.  Today is my birthday, and I purchased this crown from Heather Bullard to remind me each day to bring my gifts forward without reservation...after all...it's in my genes!
