once upon a sidewalk

To invent, you need a good imagination
and a pile of junk.
Thomas Alva Edison, inventor
Remember that little chair I found upon a sidewalk with a "free" sign?  With the amazing talents of my favorite upholstery artist, Richard, it is a velvet pink delight!  He magically took the little vintage piece I found in a Philadelphia store and transformed my junk find.  It is now my personal throne!
I adore the way he paid careful attention to all the details!
You never know what might happen when an artist and an inventor meet!  Truly chic!
People are a lot like this...we never know what is under that tough, worn coat...maybe a new friend?  It sure makes the world a more exciting place to think so!  Have a great week!

Wow. That chair is stunning. I absolutely LOVE it...and the complementing paint color in the background. :D

The chair is beautiful! You inherited Grandpa's eye for finding things that just need a little help in showing how pretty they are =)
