"Opposition is a natural part of life. Just as we develop our physical muscles through overcoming opposition - such as lifting weights - we develop our character muscles by overcoming challenges and adversity.”
-Stephen Covey, author & motivational speaker
Do you have days where you just can't get your mojo running? Everything is stopped up by the gunk in your life...computers crashing, unexpected emergencies, and everything that should be going well isn't? This can be incredibly challenging to overcome in a mindset of gloom and doom...as I was this morning...I am a brooding Capricorn! But I found a way to get back in the game and repeat to myself a quote from Og Mandino's book The Greatest Salesman in the World...I will not accept defeat!!
Once I did a shift in my mind (despite those challenges before me), I began to see the possibilities and recognize that as my husband says, "You were trying to play hockey with a tennis racket." My home does not have to be perfect for love to exist within it, my car will get fixed and at the end of the day, whatever is not in my life is not ready to be in my life...everything happens at the right time. This too shall pass and my spiritual muscle will be stronger for having learned yet another lesson!

Actually I later realize that the quote from Og Mandino is "I will persist until I succeed!"...the other one works, too!
